measure of Fridge

Hi, sorry about the awful sound, I don't know why the sound was so bad.
Any way , getting back to the dishwasher item:
what are the measures of the fridge? because if in total we have 1.77 cm, and if the fridge is 60 cm, we could put in Mariolinas sink ( 50x40 is it correct?) and the 60 cm dishwasher, we will then have storage only under the sink.. it could be ok.
please advise

New cupboard

Sorry about the photo - not much information here... The question is: Perhaps it is an idea to build a floor to ceiling unit with an oven above counter level - lots and lots of storage and if you want also a microwave oven and other units.
The existing cupboard under the stairs can be accessible through this cupboard. Otherwise if we just build up to worksurface height this cupboard will need to shorten a lot.

The built sofa in that position was made necessary in order to combat the damp coming in because the floor here is lower than the garden level of the neighboring land. In order to lower the sofa to a normal sitting height, you would need to retain the second wall that has been built adjucent to the stone wall. Perhaps raise this in the form of a wooden back like shown in sketch below?

plumbing

Adam had difficulty getting through the 1 meter or more thick wall. As you can see he has created three outlets. One for the water pipe, one for draining the sink, one for draining the washing machine. He has also connected water and drainage to the new position for the washing machine, through the basement room.

what used to be the WC

The concrete step will leave - the plumbing and electrics will be hidden to be invisible. Perhaps you can see here where I ment that the sofa might go.The sofa I propose should go where the concrete step is.(1.40- 1.45 m). And then there should be an extension out over the area where the shower used to be of aother 60 cm or so to make a double bed.

I believe the door to the kitchen should go altogether - and also the frame. If that happens then the sofa proposed will properly face teh other two sofas creating a nice sitting room. (the photo was taken standing on the bench)

This photo has been taken with my back to the wall. This is the way the new sofa should face I believe and not facing the wall with the small window. The view from the window will be a nice surprise for someone either sitting deep in the sofa or lying down to sleep there.

dishwasher and oven

One or two things:

The idea was to build the extra cupboard with oven later – but if you want now I think we can manage.

Any special preferences for the oven and hobs?

I quite like teka.com

They have a good range especially for the worktop hobs in all different sizes and styles.

I think some of the narrow lines are good.

Dish washer: you have just about enough space for the 60 cm dish washer but this will significantly reduce your sink. Let me know. The shop that stocks and delivers to Kalamata does not have the specified dish water form you – but we could order it. The only one they have in Ariston is the one I sent you already.

I am meeting with Daniel in 30 minutes so I will send you photos and things directly in the morning.

Best wishes

Hi Eleni,
Ok for the pricing of what's need to be done as far as the cupboards in the utility room and I will want to cover also the water boiler so to make the room as tidy as possible . What style will he do the cupboards?
What about the kitchen, are we doing anything according to the sketch you sent me ? Like adding a work surface and oven under the staircase keeping though the existing storaging?
As per the sofa, the final decision will arrive after I receive the measures of the bathroom and I can see and understand how to make the sofa you mean ( I do like your idea very much)become a double bed .

extension of Sitting room

As I have posted on the blog I think your idea to bring down the blue sofa and then build the angle end, is not possible. There just is not enough room.
Here is what I suggest – please look at sketch.
This will give you a deep and comfy sofa with two drawers and some storage space under the mattress.
You could also easily incorporate and additional extension to the length that you use to make the sofa a comfortable double bed when necessary (see floor plan)
