I hope you can see here that the side windows do not have skylights -
but the front one needs one

We agreed to lose all skylights except for this one at the front o the
room. I hope that you can see that it is an important aspect of this
window both from the insde and the outside. If we didn;t do this it
would look very strange

The weather here has been incredibly bad. Over the past week there was
only oene day that it did not literally piss down all day. You can
probably tell from teh colour of everything that it is still damp and
wet.
Hopefully the weather will pick up from now on and thinga will move faster.

Pump issue

This is where the leak is and here is what Adam said about replacement options:

For a like for like pump (based on a DAB motor with expansion vessel) will cost - 245 euro and 45 euro to collect and fit. this pump is basic and operates when pressure has dropped by 1bar.

The pumps I supply and fit for house use in the area are a WILO pump (very similar to the Grunfos pump I fitted for Andzej). This doesn't have or, need an expansion vessel and is by far a more superior pump. It operates immediately, replacing the pressure instantaneously so that you do not notice a drop in pressure eg, when you are showering you don't feel pressure drop and then build up again leaving you fiddling with the temperature of the shower.
This is more expensive at - 465 euro and 65 euro to collect and fit.

The DAB pump will work fine but it is normally used on irrigation systems. has a one year guarantee.
The WILO is best for the house pressure and comes with a two year guarantee.
